Capitalists: "it's obviously impossible to provide a decent standard of living to everyone on the planet, there's not enough resources for that"

Also capitalists: "let's destroy unsold goods by the hundred thousands each week, there's not enough room in our warehouses for all that stuff"

@antanicus there’s a bit of a logistics issue though, if we’re gonna get all socialist with those leftover goods. who to send them to, and how to pay for the shipping/ resource the shipping

@zens this is not even the point. The point is these delusional sociopaths must be eliminated from the face of the Earth ASAP and the capitalist system dismantled if we are to survive the sixth mass extinction

@antanicus I am pretty sure they know that too. I wouldn’t underestimate them

@zens of course they know: "They [know] armed guards would be required to protect their compounds from the angry mobs. But how would they pay the guards once money was worthless? What would stop the guards from choosing their own leader? The billionaires considered using special combination locks on the food supply that only they knew. Or making guards wear disciplinary collars of some kind in return for their survival."

@antanicus Far more typically unsold goods are sold off in bulk to lower tier providers to clear inventory.

This is literally how dollars stores and other and deep discount chains work.

@antanicus And worldwide we produces enough food for 1.5 times the current population. And still 15% do not have enough food...
